The police are investigating the alleged abduction of two seven-year-old twins, Hassanatou and Hussainatou, in Brikama Gidda.
According to reports, the parents are divorced, and the father, Cherno Korika Jallow (whose name appears as Muhammed Jallow on official documents), may have forcefully taken the children with the intention of removing them from the country.
The reports added that the mother, Habibatou Jallow, had custody of the children. The father, who resides in Dakar, Senegal, was allegedly seen taking the children away in a commercial vehicle.
The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in locating the children to the nearest police station.
