The training, which is under the Bertil Harding Consultants for the Phases 1&2 project, was held at Coco Ocean Hotel.

The training brought together engineers and project managers of different road projects across the country including the stakeholders.

Speaking during the opening session, Ebrima Colley, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Technical at the Ministry of Transport, Works, and Infrastructure (MOTWI), said the objectives of the workshop on Project Management is to learn about initiating, planning, monitoring, and closing the work carried out by a team, ensuring that all projects are met within the constraints of scope, time and cost.

According to him, the training is timely, as the NRA is implementing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, lots 1 to 9 across the country.

He on behalf of the Ministry thanked the contracting Authority for including “this important training in the Bertil Harding Highway project phase 1&2” for the client’s engineers.

For his part, Ashraf Hassan, Vice President of SaudConsult, said the training is part of their mandate as per the contract.

“This training is organised to help engineers and project managers add to their knowledge on how to manage their projects,” he stated, urging all participants to interact and participate during the sessions.
