Wife of recently killed Iranian supreme leader Khamenei dies from injuries sustained in US-Israeli strikes

Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, the wife of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, died on Monday 2 March 2026, according to Iranian state-owned Press TV.

Before she finally passed on, following the killing of her husband on Saturday 28 Feb. by the US-Israeli strikes, she was reportedly in a coma after sustaining injuries from the attack that took the life of her husband.

The 79-year-old Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh finally gave up the ghost on Monday 2 March. Her husband Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was 86 at his death.
