The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Momodou Sowe, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, received a donated vehicle on behalf of the Gambia Police Force for the Sankandi Police Post at Kiang West, Lower River Region.
The vehicle was formally handed over by Amadou Kambi, CEO of Masireh Healthcare Clinic, a registered medical NGO. During the ceremony, Mr Kambi thanked Mustapha Kambi, who provided the donation to enhance timely police response in Sankandi Village and surrounding communities.
Speaking on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, DIG Sowe expressed appreciation for the donors’ patriotism and their support to the Gambia Police Force. He also called on other Gambians to emulate this “generous gesture” in helping to build safer communities for all.
AIG Ebrima Bah, Head of Police Administration, was also present at the ceremony.
