In a landmark event, the Gambia Police Force has celebrated the largest single intake in its history with a passing-out parade for 1,300 recruits from Intake 2025.
The historic ceremony, held on Tuesday at the Never Again Memorial Arch in Banjul, was presided over by President Adama Barrow.
The event marked a significant milestone in bolstering the nation’s security forces, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement. The recruits, who underwent rigorous training, are set to enhance public safety and support community policing initiatives across The Gambia.
President Barrow commended the recruits for their dedication and urged them to uphold integrity and professionalism in their duties.
The parade, attended by dignitaries and families, showcased the force’s growing capacity to address modern security challenges, symbolizing a new era for the Gambia Police Force.
