APP-Sobeyaa, led by Essa Mbye Faal, says it has finally agreed to join President Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party (NPP), marking a major political shift after weeks of alliance talks ahead of the December 5th presidential election.
In a statement, the party’s Media Secretary General Amfaal Mbye confirmed the decision, saying APP-Sobeyaa will bring its “principles and values to National Development” and boldly declaring: “Here we are as the Magufuli of The Gambia.”
The announcement comes just days after Barrow publicly called on Faal to join his political camp
