A seasoned, multiple award winning writer and youth leader, Baboucarr E.A. Busso, is set to launch his debut book carrying the title ‘Loud Whispers of Silence’.
Busso, who got his Bachelor’s degree in English language with distinction from the University of the Gambia (UTG), is a revered young personality among students at the UTG, especially at the School of Education.
Outside of university, his topnotch writing has earned him a considerable base of admirers.
Meanwhile, ‘The Loud Whispers of Silence’ is an inspiring magnum opus that guarantees to mesmerise readers across Gambia and beyond.
Published by Poetic Essence Publications, the collection embodies 52 poems on key themes from which readers can discern resonating ideas and experiences.
According to the publishers, The Loud Whispers of Silence as a title is an oxymoron that suggests the ironical situations the physical and spiritual worlds offer their dwellers without their ultimate control.

The launching will be held in the chambers of the Brikama Area Council on 30 August 2025.
